Job offer description

As a road builder, you will work on the construction, expansion and maintenance of roads, pavements and squares. You will carry out earthworks, lay paving stones and lay asphalt surfaces. You will work in a team with modern machines and implement construction plans on site.

Your tasks will include

  • Construction of roads, squares, pavements
  • Handling asphalt, paving stones, machines
  • Occupational safety, construction site organisation

Training as a road builder usually takes 3 years. The dual training system consists of vocational school lessons and inter-company training.

Job requirements
  • Interest in the building trade
  • Physical resilience and ability to work in a team
  • Language: at least German B1 or comparable level
  • Driving licence class B in home country (desirable)
